School of Environment and Architecture

COURSE BRIEF
This course was intended to help us understand and connect with the environment and ecology of the buildings and its materials. It has a cultural impact on the life of people. So we started with the understanding of ecology and technology with the case studies and how the materiality is what holds the design and the environment together. These case studies of different environment friendly architects helped analysing these dependencies in a better way. The later part of the module focused on the hands on experience. The idea was to make a 1:1 arch and understand these studies in a practical way.
